Wenkai Zhou is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Crummer Graduate School of Business, Rollins College. His research focuses on AI-marketing interfaces, digital technology adoption, and cross-cultural consumer behavior. He previously taught at the University of Central Oklahoma and University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. Dr. Zhou holds a Ph.D. from New Mexico State University, an MBA from UC Riverside, and a BA from Eastern Washington University.
His research explores AI-driven marketing strategies, consumer privacy in service robotics, and cultural influences on business decisions. He has published in journals like Technological Forecasting and Social Change and Journal of Marketing Analytics, and served on editorial boards for Journal of Global Marketing and International Marketing Review. His work has won track best paper awards and an honorable mention for the Marvin Jolson Award (2022).
Zhou emphasizes holistic marketing strategies, overcoming siloed thinking in management, and leveraging emerging technologies. His teaching philosophy prioritizes value creation and global adaptability in marketing education. Beyond academia, he enjoys cross-cultural exploration through travel, documentaries, and spending time with his dogs.
