Wendy Chavkin, MD, MPH, is a Lecturer at the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University, specializing in reproductive health policy and advocacy. Her work spans global reproductive rights, maternal health, and social justice, with a focus on abortion access, conscientious objection, and the intersection of welfare reform with women's health. She co-founded Global Doctors for Choice and previously held leadership roles at Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health.
