Wen-Hui Chen

Wen-Hui Chen is a Lecturer in the Department of Asian Studies at the University of British Columbia. She holds an M.A. in Chinese Pedagogy from Indiana University Bloomington and has previously taught Chinese language at Colby College, Indiana University Bloomington (U.S.), and the Chinese Language Center of National Taichung University of Education (Taiwan).

Her teaching philosophy emphasizes creating a safe learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes. She encourages recognizing anxiety as a natural part of learning and promotes lifelong learning by motivating students to venture beyond their comfort zones and align their passions with life goals.
