Wen-Chiang Chen

Wen-Chiang Chen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Studies at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. His research focuses on K-8 Literacy, Teacher Education, Critical Literacy, Culturally Sustaining Pedagogy, and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.

Education:

• Ph.D. in Language, Culture and Literacy, Indiana University-Bloomington
• M.A. in TESOL, Indiana University-Bloomington

In 2017, he received the Eagle Teaching Excellence Award at UW-La Crosse. He teaches courses such as EDS 308, EDS 412, and EDS 402. His office is located in 365B Morris Hall, and he holds by-appointment-only office hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
