Weber Martin

Weber Martin is a Senior Professor at the University of Mannheim, with a career spanning over three decades in finance, economics, and decision research. His affiliations include visiting roles at Duke University (5 months), Stanford University (6 months), University of Pennsylvania (4 months), and UCLA (18 months).

• Research Focus: Behavioral finance, household finance, experimental economics, and decision analysis.
• Academic Leadership: Chair of Finance and Banking at the University of Mannheim (1993-2017), and active participation in the Senate of the German National Academy of Science Leopoldina (2002-2023), including chairpersonship for Economics and Empirical Social Science (2019-2023).
