Dr. Wayne Binitie is an Interim Senior Lecturer at Camberwell College of Arts, specializing in interdisciplinary art practices addressing environmental and climatic themes. His research explores how history is inscribed, interpreted, and erased through polar ice, merging sculpture, painting, and sound installations. Notable works include Solid, Liquid, Gas (V&A Museum), Polar Zero (COP26 Glasgow), and Ice Floor (Arup Gallery), collaborating with institutions like the British Antarctic Survey and Arup. His practice investigates climate narratives through materials such as carved glass, ice cores, and soundscapes.
