Wassim Dbouk is a Research Fellow at the University of Southampton's Southampton Marine and Maritime Institute, specializing in marine and maritime policy. He contributes to the Industrial Decarbonisation Research and Innovation Centre (IDRIC), focusing on legal and regulatory aspects of CO2 transport for the UK's Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) plans. His research spans ocean governance, sustainable development, and climate justice, with a particular emphasis on aligning policy frameworks with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
