Walden Bass serves as an Adjunct Professor of Cello in the Department of Music at Le Moyne College, teaching since 2023 after previously instructing at Hobart William Smith Colleges (2010-2018). As a professional cellist with The Syracuse Orchestra since 1974, he maintains an active dual career in both academia and performance.
His educational foundation includes Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Cello Performance from the University of Michigan. Artistic interests span orchestral, chamber, and choral music traditions, reflected in his decades-long membership with Schola Cantorum of Syracuse since 2002.
