Elizabeth Burns serves as Adjunct Faculty of Cello at Winthrop University's Conservatory of Music. She instructs undergraduate cello students, coaches chamber ensembles including string quartets, and teaches strings methodology courses.
Beyond academia, Burns performs as Assistant Principal Cellist with Salisbury Symphony, regularly substitutes with Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, and coaches youth ensembles for Youth Orchestras of Charlotte.
Her performance activities include frequent church concerts and chamber recitals throughout the Carolinas, blending pedagogical expertise with active performance practice.
