Syneva Colle is an Assistant Professor of Cello & String Education at the Department of Music, School of Music, Theatre, and Dance, Kansas State University. She is a cellist, composer, and educator active in both classical and popular music domains.

Dr. Colle specializes in cello performance, chamber music, string education, and music outreach. She emphasizes accessibility through intergenerational collaboration and community engagement, working with youth and elderly populations. Her creative work includes composing and arranging string ensemble music.
She is a member of the Core Ensemble (West Palm Beach, FL), Fairfax Symphony (Virginia), and a substitute cellist for the New World Symphony (Miami, FL). In 2019, she co-founded the unconducted chamber orchestra Arco in Washington, D.C. She has performed on historic instruments, including the 1677 Amati cello at the Smithsonian Museum.
Colle co-owns Corwin Music Publishing, a platform for contemporary string ensemble resources, and composed the original score for the 2016 documentary *Huan Dao*. She has appeared as a soloist and ensemble member on over twenty commercial albums.
