Volha Lazuka is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Department of Economic History and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Economic Demography at Lund University, Sweden. Her research focuses on the long-term impacts of public institutions and medical innovations on life expectancy and economic growth in developed countries during the 19th and 20th centuries, utilizing a life-course approach and Scandinavian case studies.
