Vladimir P. Beskoski

Prof. Vladimir P. Beskoski is a Full Professor at the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade. He specializes in environmental biochemistry, biotechnology, and remediation technologies. His research focuses on innovative solutions for pollution mitigation using microbial and biotechnological approaches. He has led multiple international and national projects addressing PFAS contamination, soil remediation, and green chemistry applications.

Education:

• BSc/MSc/PhD in Chemistry (University of Belgrade, Faculty of Chemistry)

Research Interests: Development of biodegradable materials, phytoremediation techniques, and sustainable practices for environmental protection. Active in EU-funded projects like PFAStwin and FoodEnTwin, and Japanese collaboration initiatives.

Projects Overview: Principal investigator in over 10 projects including PFAS remediation, bio-based fertilizers, and functionalized beer products. Collaborates with UNDP, JICA, and European Commission agencies.
