Natalija S. Andrejevic

Natalija S. Andrejević is a Researcher at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Chemistry, affiliated with the Department of Biochemistry. Her work spans biochemical research and teaching engagement in protein and nucleic acid biochemistry.

• Education: Basic Academic Studies (2016-2020), Master of Academic Studies (2020-2021) in Chemical Sciences at the University of Belgrade.

Her research focuses on Biochemistry with emphasis on Protein Structure, Nucleic Acids Research, and Structural Biology. She is actively involved in the Horizon Europe-funded project Twinning to address the PFAS challenge in Serbia (PFAStwin), which highlights her engagement in applied biochemical solutions for environmental challenges.

• Scientific Awards: Special recognition from the Serbian Chemical Society (2021), Best Oral Presentation Award at the Biochemical Society of Serbia Conference (2023), and the PFASTwin GRI Scholarship (2024).

Andrejević contributes to teaching courses such as Biochemistry of Proteins and Nucleic Acids and Protein Conformational Transitions. She is also a member of the Biochemical Society of Serbia since 2023.
