Vivian Loftness

Vivian Loftness is University Professor and Paul Mellon Chair in Architecture at Carnegie Mellon University. An internationally renowned researcher with 40+ years in building science, she specializes in sustainable design, climate-responsive architecture, and workplace performance. Former Head of Carnegie Mellon Architecture, she serves on advisory boards for EPA, DOE, and the National Academy of Sciences.
