Vitaly Orlov is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Finance (SBF-HSG), University of St. Gallen. Since February 2024, he has been serving as the interim Professor, replacing Prof. Dr. Manuel Ammann during Ammann's tenure as Rector. His teaching responsibilities include courses in Investments (Spring 2024), Asset Management and Mutual Funds (MBF program), and Derivatives (MBF program).
His academic focus spans finance disciplines including:
- Portfolio and investment strategy design
- Mutual fund management frameworks
- Derivative instruments pricing and applications
- Institutional asset allocation
