Victoria Scholfield

Victoria Scholfield is a Midwifery Lecturer at the School of Health and Social Care, part of Sheffield Hallam University's College of Health, Wellbeing and Life Sciences. She has been affiliated with the university since 2019 and holds academic advisory roles for student midwives across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Her roles include module lead for 'Assessing and Addressing Complexity (ICC)' (BSc) and 'Towards Autonomous Midwifery Practice' (MSc), alongside serving as a Link Lecturer in Doncaster and Bassetlaw to support clinical placements.

She holds dual bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Midwifery, a Postgraduate Certificate in Midwifery, and is currently pursuing a PG Diploma in Higher Education. Her research focuses on student experience, particularly in relation to ethnic identity, and she aims to expand this work further. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes applying pedagogical knowledge to enhance session facilitation.

Victoria is actively involved in the Health Research Institute, contributing to interdisciplinary health research initiatives.
