Victoria "Tory" Harvey is a faculty member at Antioch University Santa Barbara, where she coordinates the Teaching Performance Assessment and co-teaches an instructional design course with department chair Marianne D’Emidio-Caston. She also serves as the edTPA coordinator for the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) and teaches in its teacher education program.
- Education: BA in English, teaching credential; MA in American Studies (Pepperdine University); MA in Education (University of California, Santa Barbara)
Her research focuses on how pre-service teachers conceptualize and formulate the challenges of teaching. She has presented her work at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) conference in 2015. Tory brings practical experience as a former secondary Social Studies and English teacher and instructional coach for Los Angeles charter schools.
