Ann Lippincott, PhD, is an Adjunct Professor in the Education Program at Antioch University. She serves on the MAETC Advisory Board and has taught Reading and Language Arts curriculum courses since the program's inception. With experience teaching in Micronesia, Argentina, Chile, México, Perú, and Uruguay, she specializes in linguistically and culturally diverse education.
- Bilingual/Cross-Cultural Certification (1978)
- MA with Bilingual Specialist Credential (1984)
- Doctorate in Education (University of California, Santa Barbara, 1999)
Her research focuses on bilingual education, cross-cultural pedagogy, and curriculum development. She has collaborated with the United States Information Agency as an Academic Specialist since 1986 and held leadership roles in education programs at Antioch University Santa Barbara (AUSB) and UC Santa Barbara (UCSB).
Notable Achievement:
- Fulbright Scholar (South America, 1988)
Currently, she chairs the Mental Wellness Center's Board of Directors and leads nature hikes for elementary students as a docent at the Arroyo Hondo Nature Preserve.
