Victoria Hamilton is a part-time Teaching Fellow in the Department of Design, Manufacture and Engineering Management at the University of Strathclyde's Faculty of Engineering, and an Enterprise Fellow in the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship. She brings practical entrepreneurial experience into the classroom as founder of VH Innovation Ltd, a business she developed from her final year university design project.
Her educational background includes a PG Cert in Teaching & Learning (2020-2022) and a Master of Engineering in Product Design Engineering (2008-2013), both from the University of Strathclyde.
Hamilton's research focuses on the intersection of product design, entrepreneurship education, and artificial intelligence applications in creative processes. She has developed cross-disciplinary programs that integrate engineering design with business entrepreneurship, creating innovative educational approaches that prepare students for real-world challenges.
Her two most recent publications examine how AI can enhance creative thinking in product design and how to effectively develop entrepreneurial skills through integrated engineering and business curricula. These works reflect her commitment to bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application.

As an Enterprise Fellow, Hamilton actively brings her industry experience into the classroom, working alongside academic staff to enhance students' learning experiences. She has secured significant research funding, including a £38,418 grant from the Royal Society of Edinburgh for her 'Entrepreneur in Residence' project. Her professional activities include speaking engagements at major forums including the Converge Challenge, Institute of Directors Scotland, and the Beijing Institute of Technology Design Forum.
