Victoria Fareld is a Professor at Stockholm University's Department of Culture and Aesthetics, where she also serves as director of studies for doctoral programs in the history of ideas and coordinates doctoral education across the department. She founded the interdisciplinary research network for Cultural Memory Studies at Stockholm University and contributes to the national research school in the history of political ideas (2023–2027), funded by the Swedish Research Council.
Education and Appointments: She earned her doctorate from the University of Gothenburg in 2007 and has held visiting researcher positions at Potsdam University's Institute for Philosophy, Sophiapol (Paris-X Nanterre), and the New School for Social Research (New York). She joined Stockholm University in 2012 after prior academic activity at the University of Gothenburg.
