Annika Berg is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer in the History of Ideas at the Department of Culture and Aesthetics, Stockholm University. She leads the Network for Emotion Studies (2024) and teaches across all levels from basic to postgraduate studies.
- Education: PhD in History of Ideas (2009) from Uppsala University.
- Research: Focuses on intersections between medical history, political ideas, and ethics, with projects on health economics, voting rights, and emotion studies.
Key Publications: 2025 work on ultrasound as synesthetic technology; 2024 analyses of health economics and suffrage reform; 2018 monograph on psychopathy in Sweden; 2010 thesis on public health expertise.
