Victor Revilla Cuesta is an Assistant Professor at the Hydraulic Engineering Area of the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Burgos. He is affiliated with the Sustainable Construction Research Group (SUCONS) and the national excellence network BIA2017-90838-REDT. His academic career spans roles as a pre-doctoral researcher (FPU Grant, 2018), post-doctoral researcher (2021-2022), and current faculty member since 2022.

His research focuses on sustainable construction materials, particularly the reuse of industrial by-products like recycled concrete aggregates and slag-based binders in hydraulic and civil engineering applications. Victor has co-authored 29 JCR-indexed articles (22 Q1) and 5 patents, collaborating internationally with institutions in Finland, Pakistan, China, Portugal, and Italy. He has taught over 300 hours of classes and supervised multiple Degree Theses, currently guiding a PhD project on ladle furnace slag in concrete.
