Professor Vicky Coyle is a Clinical Professor at Queen's University Belfast's School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences, affiliated with the Patrick G Johnston Centre for Cancer Research. Her research focuses on clinical trials in oncology, antibiotic therapies for cancer patients, and managing sepsis. She led the EASI-SWITCH project (2015–2020) investigating oral antibiotic efficacy in neutropenic sepsis.
Research Interests: Colorectal cancer treatment strategies, targeted therapies, antibiotic management in oncology patients, and geriatric oncology. Her work emphasizes improving patient outcomes through innovative clinical trials and evidence-based practices.
