Christopher Scott is a Professor and Dean of Research at Queen’s University Belfast’s School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences. His research focuses on nanomedicine and antibody-based therapies for cancer, inflammation, and infectious diseases. He leads the Patrick G Johnston Centre for Cancer Research and has pioneered treatments for sepsis and cancer through his lab’s work funded by agencies like the Medical Research Council and industry partners such as AstraZeneca and Immunocore.
