Associate Professor Vicki Sentas holds a position at the School of Law, Society & Criminology at UNSW. With qualifications including LLB/BA from James Cook University and a PhD from Monash University, her work focuses on criminalization, racialization, counter-terrorism, and policing practices. She teaches criminal law, criminology, and coordinates the Police Powers Clinic with Redfern Legal Centre.
Her research examines counter-terrorism impacts on racialized communities, police accountability, and criminal justice reform. Notable projects include analyses of security lists, pre-emptive policing, and diaspora criminalization. Recent publications address pandemic policing, drug decriminalization, and state crime in Israel.
