Vibhuti Ramachandran is an Associate Professor in Global and International Studies at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), with joint appointments in Criminology, Law and Society and a faculty association in Anthropology. Her work focuses on postcolonial law, gender, sexuality, and South Asian governance, particularly examining anti-trafficking policies, carceral practices, and humanitarian interventions.
