Viana Poulin is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Management at HEC Montréal. She holds an MBA and a Diplôme de 2e cycle (conseil en management) from UQAM, as well as a B.Sc. from Université de Montréal. Her research focuses on organizational management, strategic leadership, and human resource strategies, including topics like family enterprise professionalization, employee retention, and change management in corporate environments. She has supervised multiple MSc projects in Management, addressing challenges such as talent acquisition processes in financial institutions and retention strategies for multinational firms.
Teaching responsibilities include courses like Devenir dirigeant-e - Programme de coaching (Winter 2025, 2024, 2023) and Devenir gestionnaire (Winter 2024). Her advisory work spans over five years, with recent projects involving case studies like La Beauté Hera’s growth strategy and retention practices at Avenir Télécoms’ real estate division.
