Versé Shom is a Professor of Practice and Program Director of the Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship (SISE) Program at Tulane School of Architecture and Built Environment, Tulane University. He holds a Master's in International Development from Tulane's Payson Program in Global Development (2016). His work focuses on interdisciplinary collaboration to address urban systems, inclusive growth, and sustainable development through lenses of education, inequality, and economic policy.

His research interests include community resilience, livelihoods, and the intersection of built environments with inclusive urban development. He has over 13 years of experience across economic policy, higher education, consulting, and international development, with projects in 9 countries. Professional roles include Director/Partner at Sabi Training and Consulting, and prior positions at the Central Bank of Nigeria, American University of Nigeria, and Fundación Paraguaya.
Professional Activities: Leads SISE Program, advocates for sustainable cities, and collaborates internationally on economic growth initiatives.
