Veronika Fuechtner serves as Chair of Comparative Literature and Associate Professor of German Studies at Dartmouth College, with affiliate appointments in Jewish Studies and Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies. She previously held an Adjunct Associate Professorship in the Department of Medical Education at the Geisel School of Medicine.
Her educational background includes a Zwischenprüfung (B.A. equivalent) from Philipps-Universität Marburg, an M.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.
Professor Fuechtner's research centers on the global intersections of science and culture, with particular focus on:
