Veronica Ojetti is an Associate Professor at UniCamillus University, specializing in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. She holds permanent roles as Medical Director at the Department of Emergency and Acceptance of the University Polyclinic “A. Gemelli” (Rome) and Director of the UOC of Internal Medicine at San Carlo di Nancy GVM Care and Research Hospital. Her academic affiliations include teaching positions at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart and UniCamillus in Medicine and Surgery programs, as well as Emergency Care specialization courses.
Dr. Ojetti earned a cum laude MSc in Medicine and Surgery (1996) from the Catholic University of Rome, a cum laude specialization in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy (2000), and a cum laude PhD in “Pathophysiology of Body Districts” from the University of Tor Vergata (2004).
Her research focuses on gastroenterological disorders, human microbiota studies, and emergency medicine. With over 180 international publications, she is an active speaker at national and international conferences and a member of the Italian Societies of Gastroenterology and Emergency Urgent Medicine. She has been recognized as a “Top Italian Scientist” for her contributions to clinical and translational research.
