Veronica Ferrari is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cultural Heritage at the University of Salento. She holds a position within the Faculty of Cultural Heritage and specializes in Ancient Topography. Her expertise includes archaeological aerotopography, photogrammetry, and topographic surveys of ancient sites. Ferrari has conducted research in collaboration with projects such as the Aquinas Project and the Via Traiana Project, focusing on Roman agricultural landscapes and archaeological mapping.
Educated at the University of Salento, she earned a Master's degree cum laude and a PhD in Ancient Topography. She has been a researcher (RTD-b) and has contributed to the PhD program in 'Cultural Heritage Sciences.'
Her teaching roles include leading courses on Archaeological Aerotopography and contributing to specialized programs like the Laboratory of Archaeological Aerotopography for the School of Specialization in Archaeology. She oversees fieldwork and excavation campaigns, including projects at Fabrateria Nova and Arpi.
