Veronica Bailey

Veronica Bailey serves as a Community Chamber Ensemble Tutor at the Community Music Centre and Teacher (Percussion) at the School of Music, Australian National University (ANU), while holding the position of Principal Percussionist with the Canberra Symphony Orchestra.

Her academic credentials include:

• Bachelor of Music from the Australian National University
• Master’s degree specializing in percussion pedagogy
• Studies at Jacobs School of Music, Indiana University (2007)

As a dedicated percussion educator, Bailey focuses on performance technique and pedagogical methodologies. Her research interests bridge practical percussion instruction with curriculum development, emphasizing student achievement in competitive music environments.
