Prof. Velandai Srikanth is a Professor at Monash University's Peninsula Clinical School and Director of the National Centre for Healthy Ageing (NCHA). His research focuses on ageing health, including dementia, cerebrovascular disease, metabolic health, and frailty. He leads the Healthy Ageing Data Platform, leveraging electronic health records for large-scale cohort studies. He collaborates on genetic studies of brain ageing and stroke prevention.
