Dr. Subhashisa Swain is a part-time Research Fellow in Epidemiology (Multimorbidity) at Keele University's School of Medicine and the University of Oxford's Kellogg College. His research focuses on multimorbidity, ageing, frailty, exercise medicine, and chronic pain, particularly in musculoskeletal conditions and dementia. Using large electronic health records, he examines complexities in multimorbidity and polypharmacy. He holds a PhD in Musculoskeletal Epidemiology from the University of Nottingham and collaborates globally. Recently, he secured a £224k grant from Alzheimer's Society for optimizing polypharmacy in dementia care. He is actively involved in supervision and international research projects.
