Veena Chandra is an internationally renowned sitarist, composer, and educator affiliated with Skidmore College's Music Department since 1990 and Williams College as Artist Associate in Sitar since 2014. She founded the Dance and Music School of India in Latham, NY, and has performed globally, pioneering Indian classical music integration in the U.S.
