Dr Vasileios Kotsidis is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics, University of Cambridge, and holds a Bibby Fellowship at St Catharine's College. He teaches Political Economy and Market Failures (PIIB Paper 5) in the Michaelmas term.
His research bridges Microeconomics and Game Theory, focusing on modeling Social Preferences and Evolutionary Game Theory in strategic interactions. He explores preference formalizations, norm emergence, and social dynamics.
He received his PhD from the University of Nottingham in 2018, supervised by Dr. Silvia Sonderegger and Dr. Daniele Nosenzo. His work combines theoretical and applied approaches to economic behavior.
