Vanya Nalbantova

Vanya Nalbantova is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Medical University-Plovdiv. She specializes in medicinal plants and phytopharmaceuticals, with a focus on pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, and phytotherapeutics.

• Education: Master Pharmacist from Faculty of Pharmacy, Medical University-Plovdiv (2016).
• Academic Role: Assistant Professor since 2019; PhD student in the same department since 2021.

Her research bridges pharmacognosy, pharmacology, and phytotherapeutics, emphasizing simulation-training technologies in medicine and pharmaceutical innovations. She actively participates in university doctoral and postdoctoral projects.
