Borislava Lechkova

Borislava Lechkova is an Assistant Professor and PhD student at the Department of Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Medical University of Plovdiv. She specializes in phytotherapeutics and pharmaceutical innovations.

• Education: Master Degree in Pharmacy (2015)
• Specialization: Medicinal plants and phytopharmaceutical products (2024)

Her research focuses on:

• Isolation of biologically active substances from natural sources
• Phytochemical analysis of plant extracts and essential oils
• Investigation of therapeutic potential in natural compounds

She is affiliated with the Research Institute's Integrative and Creative Research Division at Medical University of Plovdiv.
