Vanja Kevrešan serves as Associate Professor of Jazz Guitar at the Department of Jazz and Popular Music within the Faculty of Music, University of Arts, Belgrade. A Serbian Jazz Guitarist/Composer residing in Berlin, Germany, he is recognized by Germany's Ministry of Culture and Science as one of Europe's most accomplished contemporary jazz guitarists.
His academic foundation includes a Jazz Guitar degree from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria (2002), where he received prestigious scholarships during studies.
Professor Kevrešan's artistic research centers on Jazz Guitar technique, Composition, and Jazz Improvisation methodologies. His work bridges academic instruction with active performance, influencing European jazz pedagogy through structured improvisational frameworks.

His performance career features leadership of VANJA K3 (1996), TRIP TONES (2009), and co-leadership of SPACE TIGERS (2016) with Grgur Savic, alongside collaborations with artists like David Binney and the European East West Jazz Orchestra.
