Sheryl Bailey is the Assistant Chair of the Guitar Department at Berklee College of Music, where she has taught since 2000. She is a renowned jazz guitarist, educator, and composer, recognized for her work in bebop, improvisation, and contemporary jazz. Her roles include leadership in the Guitar Department, adjunct teaching at The Collective School of Music in NYC, and hosting masterclasses globally.

Research interests focus on advancing guitar pedagogy, harmonic concepts, and improvisation techniques.
