Valeria Vargas is a Senior Lecturer in Academic Development at the University Teaching Academy, Manchester Metropolitan University. She leads professional development programs such as the PGCert in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education and supports institutional strategies for education and sustainability. Her research focuses on sustainable development integration in higher education, organizational change, and global policies. She has contributed to initiatives like the NUS Responsible Futures accreditation and UNESCO-backed sustainability projects. Her work spans Latin America and Europe, emphasizing community engagement and policy implementation.
