Valentina Fiorilli

Valentina Fiorilli serves as Associate Professor at the Department of Life Sciences and Systems Biology, University of Turin. She teaches across multiple programs including the Master's Degree in Plant Biotechnology, Master's Degree in Environmental Biology, Natural Sciences, and the Second-level Master's Degree in Coffee Science and Technology.

Her research expertise spans:

• Arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis mechanisms
• Coffee biodiversity sustainability
• Apocarotenoid-phosphate root signaling pathways

Dr. Fiorilli leads research in the PRIN 2022 project (COD. 2022CWZNZC) focused on tracking root single-cell crosstalks, funded by the European Union's NextGenerationEU initiative. Her work bridges fundamental plant biology with agricultural applications, particularly in coffee science.
