Urtzi Grau is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Architecture, University of Technology Sydney. He is an architect and academic with a PhD candidacy at Princeton University School of Architecture, focusing on 1970s Barcelona urban renewal.

His research examines architecture's role in addressing Indo-Pacific challenges like climate justice, immigration, land rights, and extractive economics. Recent publications include the 2024 Analogue Images book on architectural representation and the 2023 Skanderbeg, Tirana article analyzing modernist architectural fragments. His creative works have been exhibited internationally at Venice Biennale, Chicago Architectural Biennial, and others.
