Urszula Wolski

Urszula Wolski is an Associate Lecturer and Senior Research Assistant at Buckinghamshire New University (BNU), where she has worked since 2019. Previously, she served as a Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Northampton (2014–2019) and held roles as an Associate Lecturer and Information Analyst at BNU. She is a self-employed consultant and trainer specializing in qualitative/quantitative research methods and software (NVivo, MAXQda, SPSS), having been a MAXQda Professional Trainer since 2017. Since 2018, she has also acted as an External Examiner for Bishop Grosseteste University.

Her research focuses on gender inequalities in tennis coaching, physical activity during pandemic lockdowns, paranormal investigation experiences, and the integration of character strengths/mindfulness in sport performance. Upcoming projects explore links between character strengths, sport participation, and positive ageing.

Teaching responsibilities include the BSc Counselling and Psychotherapy, BSc Psychology, and MSc Mental Health and Wellbeing in Education programs. Her work bridges sociology, psychology, and applied research methodologies.
