Ulrika Andersson is a Professor of Criminal Law at Lund University's Faculty of Law, holding dual roles as Professor and Associate Professor in the Department of Law. She serves as Research Coordinator for Criminal Law and Law and Vulnerabilities, and is a member of the LU Profile Area: Human Rights. Her research focuses on law and power structures, particularly in relation to gender, sexuality, class, and ethnicity, with notable work on sexual offenses, human trafficking, and juvenile delinquency. She co-leads the interdisciplinary Law and Vulnerabilities research group collaborating with Emory Law School and Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
Her recent projects include studying justice demands from the #MeToo movement and examining sexual harassment dynamics in academic environments. She supervises three PhD students and actively participates in national and international legal forums. Awards include recognition for contributions to protecting marginalized groups in Southeast Asia. Her teaching spans criminal law, criminal procedure, and law and gender studies.
