Ulrich Torggler

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Ulrich Torggler, LL.M., is a Professor at the Institute for Corporate and Commercial Law, Faculty of Law, University of Vienna. He teaches courses in Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Law, and corporate law seminars for doctoral students. His academic career includes qualifying as a professor in 2009 and holding a chair at the University of Innsbruck before returning to Vienna in 2011.

• Education: Mag. iur. (1993), Dr. iur. (1996) from University of Vienna; LL.M. (1996) from Cornell Law School.

His research focuses on Austrian private commercial law, including corporate law, capital companies, partnerships, securities law, and intellectual property law. He emphasizes practical relevance through case-based teaching and collaboration with legal practitioners.
