Ulrich Remus is a Full Professor and Head of the Department of Information Systems, Production and Logistics Management at the University of Innsbruck's School of Management. He holds a PhD from the University of Regensburg and a Habilitation from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. Previously, he worked as an IT consultant and taught in Germany and New Zealand.
His research focuses on IS project control, algorithmic management, and the societal impacts of digital technologies. Key projects include the FWF-funded ReACt initiative studying gig worker resistance to algorithmic control and leading the APCC report on digitalization in Austria's circular economy.
