Ulrich Müller

Ulrich Müller is a Professor of Guitar at the Institute of Music (IfM) at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. He holds a Staatsexamen (SMP) from the Städtischen Konservatorium Osnabrück (1980) and a Konzertreife-Diplom from the Hochschule für Musik und Kunst Bremen and Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. He has performed internationally as a soloist and chamber musician, collaborating with orchestras and ensembles like Musica Nova. His pedagogical contributions include roles in the European Guitar Teacher Association and editing a guitar edition for Gretel Verlag.

Research interests focus on modern guitar performance techniques, historical instrument development, and music education methodologies. His career spans over four decades with notable performances in Germany, Japan, Spain, and the USA.
