Prof. Hans-Jürgen Knipphals is a Professor of Music Theory at the University of the Arts Bremen. He holds Diplom degrees in Music Theory (1980) and Piano (1983) from the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre, as well as SMP certifications in both fields. He has been a lecturer at institutions including the Lübeck Academy of Music (since 1980), Bremen University of the Arts (since 1984), and Stella Musical Academy (since 1998). His professional roles extend to composer, arranger, pianist, producer, and author.
