Almut Cordes

Almut Cordes serves as a Lecturer for Piano and Piano Methodology at the University of the Arts Bremen's School of Music, where she mentors students through performance classes and the "Podium for Young Talents" concert series she initiated.

Her educational foundation includes studies with Prof. Stefan Seebass (Bremen), Prof. Franzpeter Goebels (Detmold), and Prof. Detlef Kraus (Hamburg/Essen), supplemented by master classes under Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Vitaly Margulis, and Paul Badura-Skoda.

Her research emphasizes Piano Pedagogy and Performance Methodology, integrating innovative teaching strategies with Chamber Music collaboration. She actively contributes to Music Education through the "Saarbrücken Talks" seminar series and piano didactics workshops.

Professor Cordes has cultivated award-winning students across international competitions including "Jugend musiziert", Valletta International Piano Competition, and EUPLAYY Online Piano Competition. Key students include:
